A post for thought. . .
Hey guys! I was wondering if there is anything I should do to improve my bolg? As I tour other book-bloggers'-blogs I notice that many of you have bright colors, wonderful patterns-contests-and author interviews. I was just wondering should I go down that road too - in hopes of making a better blog? A blog in which people would love to see more of? I feel that right now, my blog is the goth/emo sister to everyone else's bright and happy blog :P

I think you should do whatever makes you happy. There are some blogs that I find very pretty - like Jules' Book Reviews - and some are just functional. Since I tend to read posts in Google Reader instead of going to the actual blog, I rarely see anything anyway.
Thanks Amanda. I tried to get blogger onto Google Reader and I did - but it didn't work. I'm trying to get people to come to my blog and eventually get publishers to send me books. So I was trying to figure out a way. Hmm I feel like I'm rambling. But thank you Amanda :)
Make your blog however you want to! If people are following you, they must like it already :P

Like Amanda and B.A.M. said, just do what you want on your blog. If that means changing the background, then change it to something YOU like. Personally, I love your blog; you have weekly posts like Fill-in Friday, great review and do challenges.

First I have to say that I love your blog just the way it is :) Usually I care more about the content rather than the layout. I think the layout of your blog should reflect what you like, as long as it's functional!

I like your blog how it is, too! It is fun to experiment, though, and it's easy to change things back if you don't like what you do. I fiddled around with mine a lot in the beginning - and I may do it in the future when I get sick of looking at it how it is! I like the new pic at the top.
