A challenge for myself (and any others who care to join...)

So I was just surfing blogs and I came across this list on BookEnds. I saw this list - and after quickly glancing I realized that I've probably only read 4 books from the list! I've read other books by the same author - like I've read Grapes of Wrath and not Of Mice and Men. So I'm going to challenge myself to read through all of these books. I don't know how long it will take me but just for fun I am going to say a year. I've already read Pride and Prejudice like 449 times but I won't mind reading it again! I'm going to create my own button - and for those that would like to join I guess you can put the button on your blog too or not :)

Hahaha! No worries. I have so many half-reads that the list would have probably have been finished :)

I missed the HP series - so my score went up!! NOW TO *drum roll please* 8!!

No worries Bri. I'm sure some people haven't heard of "Wuthering Heights" oh waaaait that's right. It's Edward and Bella's fav book! How could I forget ;)

Have fun! I'm totally doing this- it'll give me a chance to get away from the mind numbing summer romances I've been reading lately ;)

I've been meaning to post this list for a long time- I saw it on the N.com (well, I was bored!) and I forgot about it til now. I'll go post this now :)

P.S. Oops, LOONG comment. Sorry!

Wow, I'm above average! I've read 8 of the list, lol. Thankfully to school probably, because most of those 8 were required reading!

margaret said...

Hahaha! I think I've read some on my own and some for school :)

I can safely say that I've read more than 6 of those titles, but there's still room for improvement. I'll probably be joining you--in fact, I'm already reading 3 titles on the list (started before I realized they were on the list to begin with LOL). :D

On another note, it's kind of silly that "The Chronicles of Narnia" and "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe" are listed because one is mutually inclusive. Basically, if you've already read "The Chronicles of Narnia," then it's a given you've read "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe." I wonder who proofed this list...

margaret said...

Hahaha when I read that I thought the same thing! Maybe . . they want you to read them twice?

Anonymous said...

Super late, I know but I'm joining

My total was 28
