I WANT IT NOW WEDNESDAY!

Welcome back to another episode of "I WANT IT NOW!!! Wednesday". The book I will be so happy to pluck out of unsuspecting hands is : SEX AND THE CITY.

But wait you say - isn't that a TV show on HBO? Why, yes - yes it is but it was based off of this very book. I'd like to read the book that inspired it all! So without further adieu . . .

(I've copied the description from Amazon.com)

"The "Sex and the City" columnist for the New York Observer documents the social scene of modern-day Manhattan. The reader gets an introduction to "Modelizers," the men who only have eyes for models, as well as a more common species, the "Toxic Bachelor." Reading like a society novel gone downtown and askew, Sex and the City is a comically sordid look at status and ambition and the many characters consumed by the sexual politics of the '90s. --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title. "

I realized that I've never said why I've wanted my "WANT IT NOW" books. So I'll start now.

WHY I want this book : I loved the HBO series and I really want to read the book that started it all :)

SO!! On a side note I'd like to say that 1 of my other favorite shows is back on :) and it's called AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL! I LOVE THAT SHOW!! YEAH!!! Well I can't wait to read other "Wishing on Wednesday" or "Waiting on Wednesday" or whatever Wednesday idea there is!

I WANT IT NOW!!! Wednesday

OK ladies and gents it's that time of the week again!! :) TIME FOR ANOTHER:

I WANT IT NOW!!
So the book that is tantrum worthy is : The hunger games BY SUZANNE COLLINS!!

I've heard so many good things about this book (and even though my caps key is off it's still typing caps)

I've copied the description from "Good Reads" but I'm sure many of you know of it already :)

"Katniss is a 16-year-old girl living with her mother and younger sister in the poorest district of Panem, the remains of what used be the United States. Long ago the districts waged war on the Capitol and were defeated. As part of the surrender terms, each district agreed to send one boy and one girl to appear in an annual televised event called, "The Hunger Games." The terrain, rules, and level of audience participation may change but one thing is constant: kill or be killed. When Kat's sister is chosen by lottery, Kat steps up to go in her place."

I WANT IT NOW!!! Wednesday

For todays post of "I WANT IT NOW!!!!!!!" I shall in a angry ALL CAPS post because I'm can???? Sure why not! :)

SO THE BOOK I WILL BE RUTHLESSLY SNATCHING OUT OF PEOPLE HANDS IS "TWENTIES GIRL" By Shophie Kinsella!

(Copy and Pasted directly from Random House Inc.)

"Lara Lington has always had an overactive imagination, but suddenly that imagination seems to be in overdrive. Normal professional twenty-something young women don’t get visited by ghosts. Or do they?

When the spirit of Lara’s great-aunt Sadie–a feisty, demanding girl with firm ideas about fashion, love, and the right way to dance–mysteriously appears, she has one last request: Lara must find a missing necklace that had been in Sadie’s possession for more than seventy-five years, and Sadie cannot rest without it. Lara, on the other hand, has a number of ongoing distractions. Her best friend and business partner has run off to Goa, her start-up company is floundering, and she’s just been dumped by the “perfect” man.

Sadie, however, could care less.

Lara and Sadie make a hilarious sparring duo, and at first it seems as though they have nothing in common. But as the mission to find Sadie’s necklace leads to intrigue and a new romance for Lara, these very different “twenties” girls learn some surprising truths from each other along the way. Written with all the irrepressible charm and humor that have made Sophie Kinsella’s books beloved by millions,
Twenties Girl is also a deeply moving testament to the transcendent bonds of friendship and family."

I CAN'T WAIT TO READ THIS BOOK!!! DID READING THIS POST IN CAPS MAKE YOU THINK I WAS YELLING IT? IT MAKES ME THINK THAT :)

WANTING IT NOW WEDNESDAY

Hey guys!! This is my own spin on "Waiting on a Wednesday!" I don't really get the meme but I have my own ideas. So here it goes . . . *DUN DUN DUN DUN DUUUUNNNNN!!!*

So the book I'm wanting this week is. . . . . .

I've copied this directly from Ghostgirl.com

The quote is as follows

"Charlotte Usher feels practically invisible at school, and then one day she really is invisible. Even worse: she's dead. And all because she choked on a gummy bear. But being dead doesn't stop Charlotte from wanting to be popular; it just makes her more creative about achieving her goal. If you thought high school was a matter of life or death, wait till you see just how true that is. In this satirical, yet heartfelt novel, Hurley explores the invisibility we all feel at some times and the lengths we'll go to be seen."

By Tonya Hurley
